Save the Date!
Registration for the 2026 Holy Family Run with the Angels (RWTA) will open on April 13! This year, Run with the Angels will be a color fun run, with loads of energy and excitement. This year, Run with the Angels will be held May 8.
One Act Play Departs for Competition
Please say a prayer for our students, faculty, and parents traveling to San Antonio on Tuesday, February 24, to perform in the One Act Play Competition. The students will be performing the play, “OZ”!
Students Place at History Fair
Thank you so much to everyone who helped with the middle school History Day judging and preparation last semester. This past weekend, Holy Family took 28 students to the Regional History Day competition. Four 8th-grade students took first place in their categories and will advance to the State competition on April 11 at the Bob Bullock Museum.

One Act Play Competes in San Antonio
Let's join together and wish our One Act Play students the performance of their lives on February 34 and 25, in San Antonio, as students compete with their One Act Play, OZ!
It's a fun twist on the Wizard of Oz, directed by Mrs. Jeanne Lyman, Theater Director for Holy Family Catholic School. Break a leg team!
Ash Wednesday Calls Us to Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving
On this Ash Wednesday, the Holy Family Catholic School community gathered to mark the beginning of Lent during a Mass celebrated by Very Rev. Chris Downey, Diocese of Austin Vicar for Priests, joined by Deacon Robert Tavarez.
Students, faculty, staff, and parents received ashes as a reminder to turn our hearts back to the Lord and prepare for the joy of Easter. During the homily, we were reminded of the three pillars of Lent: prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
Successful Holy Family Gala brings Boots & Bling
The 2026 Holy Family Gala this year, “Boots & Bling”, was held on Saturday, February 7, at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Round Rock. More than 225 attendees wore their finest boots, hats, and bling to raise funds for Holy Family Catholic School. The funds raised, when tallied, will be announced in the upcoming March edition of The Sentinel, as well as the 2026 Gratitude Report. We appreciate all the donors and sponsors of the wonderful evening.
