Religion
The new Religion curriculum, developed by the Diocese of Austin Religious Education Department and based on the Handbook on the Catechetical Accompaniment Process (USCCB, 2024), is structured into three levels: Early Childhood (PK–2), Middle Childhood (3–5), and Pre-Adolescents (6–8). Each level is organized around the Four Pillars—The Profession of Faith, The Celebration of the Christian Mystery, Life in Christ, and Prayer—which are further divided into strands. Each strand includes Interior Life Goals, Behavioral Goals, and Cognitive Goals. In addition, chaste living lessons based on Theology of the Body, as well as lessons from Empowering God's Children, are included throughout the year.
