Technology Class
Based on national and international standards, students in our technology application courses use and apply a variety of skill sets. Skills practiced include grade-level appropriate activities in creativity, collaboration, research, information fluency, critical thinking, digital citizenship, and technology operations. By middle school, these skill sets are developed enough for students to show informed decision making by understanding current and emerging technologies. All students use creative and computational thinking to solve problems while developing career and college readiness skills. (19 TAC Chapter 126)
