May 22, 2026
By Gabby Hinojosa

As we close the 2025–2026 school year, we recognize and thank several beloved members of our Holy Family Catholic School faculty and staff who will be embarking on new journeys. We are deeply grateful for the dedication, care, and countless ways Mrs. Guerra, Sister Mary Avila, Dr. Kahn, Mrs. Kerley, Mrs. Laielli, Mrs. Morley, and Ms. Tran have impacted our students, families, and school community throughout their time at Holy Family.

Please join us in praying for each of these incredible women as they begin their next chapter. May God continue to guide and bless them always.

Thank You, 8th Grade Office Aides!

By Gabby Hinojosa

Last week, we celebrated our amazing 8th grade office aides with a special appreciation party to thank them for all they did for our school community during the 2025-26 school year! From welcoming visitors with a smile to assisting in the front office and helping around campus, their kindness, responsibility, and attention to detail made a big difference each day.

They were such a tremendous help to our front office staff, especially Nurse Guzman and Mrs. Campos, throughout the year. We are so grateful for these student leaders and the hospitality they brought to Holy Family Catholic School. They will certainly be missed!

We recently held our Spring Athletic Awards Night to celebrate the accomplishments of our Holy Family student-athletes and recognize their hard work throughout the season. The evening began in prayer before our cheer team kicked off the program with a short performance. Awards were presented to participants across all spring sports. Each athlete received a certificate, and teams recognized students with Most Improved Player and Most Valuable Player honors. We also celebrated our 2025-2026 Faith in Action award recipients. Thank you to all of our coaches, families, and students for an incredible spring season!

Holy Family Catholic School Takes Second Place at State PSIA

May 15, 2026
By Susan Laielli

When a student decides to sign up for PSIA, they are agreeing to step up for a large amount of preparation, studying, and practicing for the annual PSIA competitions they will face over the course of the school year. With 18 contest categories covering a wide range of disciplines, PSIA is an exciting opportunity for private school students in grades 1 through 8 to engage in academic competition with their peers throughout the state of Texas. For the 2025-26 school year, Holy Family Catholic School Placed second in the State! Great job!

Thank you to the parent and teacher volunteers who spent many hours working with students to get them ready for competitions! We also appreciate all of Mrs. Morley's work on this program!
