Back-to-School Nights Connects Families and Teachers
We were happy to welcome our PK–8 families to campus over two evenings for our Back-to-School Nights, with PK–5 families attending one evening and middle school families attending the other. Each evening began with a General Assembly, followed by the opportunity for parents to walk through their children’s schedules, visit classrooms, and meet their teachers.
Thank you to all of our families who joined us! We are grateful for your involvement and support as we begin another great school year together.
Beginning the Year in His Presence
Today marked our first Eucharistic Adoration of the 2026-27 school year, led by Deacon Chris Sperling of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Eucharistic Adoration offers us a beautiful opportunity to spend quiet time with Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. What a gift for our students, faculty, and staff to begin the school year in His presence.
Following Adoration, we held a special Virtue Pin Ceremony, celebrating our shared call to grow in virtue throughout the school year as we embrace this year’s theme, Rooted in Grace, Growing in Virtue.
Gathered in Faith for Our First Mass of the 2026-2027 School Year
Today, our students gathered for Mass with Father Greg Gerhart, Vocation Director for the Diocese of Austin, alongside Deacon Chris Sperling of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Reflecting on our school theme, “Rooted in Grace, Growing in Virtue,” Father Greg reminded our students that growing in virtue takes practice. Just as an athlete or musician grows through continual practice, we grow in virtue by choosing what is good again and again, drawing closer to God and finding deeper happiness in Him.
Celebrating Mass together each Thursday is at the heart of our Holy Family community. We can’t wait for our youngest Angels in Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten to join us for Mass soon!
A Joyful First Day at Holy Family
Holy Family Catholic School was filled with excitement this morning as students arrived on campus for the first day of the 2026-27 school year! It was wonderful to welcome back our returning families and see so many new faces joining our community. To all of our students and families who are brand new to Holy Family, we warmly welcome you and are so glad you are here. We look forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing in faith, and building community together. Welcome back, Angels!
A Special First Day for Our Youngest Angels
Today, we welcomed our youngest Angels to Holy Family Catholic School! Mrs. Hoover warmly greeted our Pre-K3 students as they began their first official classroom experience.
We are so excited to watch these little Angels learn, grow, and make new friends throughout the 2026-27 school year!
Kicking Off the 2026-27 School Year
It was so great to welcome our Holy Family families back to campus for our Back-to-School Kick-Off! From reconnecting with teachers and staff to visiting classrooms, learning about activities and resources, and enjoying a sweet treat from our Parent Association, the campus was buzzing with excitement.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a great start to the year. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and welcoming new ones to our Holy Family community.
