Elementary STEM (PreK–5)

Beginning in our youngest grades, STEM is integrated into the curriculum and explored through dedicated STEM specials led by Mrs. Foyt. Students participate in age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, creativity, and problem-solving.

Examples might include:
  • Engineering challenges
  • Coding and robotics activities
  • Scientific investigations
  • Design thinking projects
  • Environmental exploration

Middle School STEM Pathways

Environmental STEM 1

Students investigate the natural world through outdoor learning experiences and hands-on STEM challenges. The course encourages environmental stewardship while introducing scientific inquiry, engineering design, and data collection.

Environmental STEM 2

Building on Environmental STEM 1, students tackle more advanced environmental challenges through research, analysis, and project-based learning focused on sustainability and ecosystem resilience.

Introduction to Computer Science

Students explore coding, website design, app development, cybersecurity, digital citizenship, game design, and physical computing through platforms such as micro:bits and Adafruit Circuit Playground devices.

Annual STEM Night

Each spring, we host our annual STEM Night, bringing together students, families, and faculty for an evening of discovery and hands-on exploration. Students showcase projects, participate in interactive activities, and celebrate the creativity and problem-solving skills developed throughout the year.
