Our school is blessed to have an active and enthusiastic Parent Association (PA). This dedicated group of volunteer leaders helps to promote the spiritual, educational, physical, and cultural welfare of our students through the coordination of many volunteers and the promotion of school fundraising activities. As parents, the PA believes we can demonstrate the importance of Holy Family Catholic School to our children by engaging in stewardship to our school community through active volunteering. We encourage parents to integrate themselves in the wonderful community by getting involved with the PA.

Get Involved

At Holy Family, there are numerous ways to get involved and the easiest way is the volunteer opportunities coordinated by the Parent Association volunteers listed below. Studies show a positive correlation between parent involvement and student success. Watch for the weekly school eNewsletters that keeps parents informed of upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. Please contact our Parent Association (parentassociation@holyfamilycs.org) and become involved! To learn more about the PA access our Parent Association Handbook.

Interested in Volunteering?

Please consider sharing your time and talent with one or more of the service committees by filling out the volunteer interest form. Each parent should complete the form separately. There will be additional opportunities throughout the year to sign up for specific events and activities. Thank you in advance for your invaluable service to our students and our school community. Please note that all volunteer positions require EIM certification; you may begin the process by learning more about the EIM certification. Please contact Parent Association Vice President, Tricia Swan at tricia.tambo@gmail.com if you have any questions.

2019 - 2020 Fundraising Committee Chairs

In collaboration with the Board of Advisors and the Development Director, the Parent Association supports fundraising events throughout the year that benefit Holy Family Catholic School. The school’s three main fundraisers consist of an annual appeal in the fall, and two events later in the school year. Each fundraiser is a community effort that requires the effort of many volunteers in various areas. Parents are involved in every aspect - from the initial business plan, to organizing and creating, to the donated time, talent, and treasures -- and into the day of the event when the entire community gets together to support our school in fun and fruitful celebrations. If you would like to volunteer or would like more detailed information please contact the Development Director or the Event Chairperson listed under the event below.

(OPEN)

This annual appeal takes place in the fall. Volunteers communicate with classroom parents regarding Choir of Angels participation.

Kelli Witt and Shanalee Sharboneau

Volunteers are needed for entertainment, silent auction, live action, decorations, audio/visual, website/multimedia, signage, class projects, check-in/out, and publicity.

Stacy Brown and Bridget Clark

Volunteers are needed for the day of the event to assist with set-up and takedown, registration, passing out water, and monitoring the runners.
