Holy Family Catholic School is a member of the Austin Inter-Parochial League, which serves to encourage and promote athletic competition between 21 private schools in the Austin metro area. Students in fifth through eight grades are offered an opportunity to participate in the athletic program in various sports held throughout the year. Each year teams are formed for volleyball, flag football, tackle football, basketball, soccer, track and field, and tennis. The athletic department is continuing to add new sports as the intersest arises.
We are committed to the development of good sportsmanship among members of our school community. In order to facilitate positive attitudes and proper behavior, Holy Family participates in the Play Like a Champion Today - Sports as Ministry program. Our coaches, parents and students all participate in a training session to understand the key elements of good sportsmanship. The PLACT program helps all of us to work together to ensure the best sports experience for our student athletes, and it embodies our commitment to the development of the whole child.
